I bought this bike light a few years ago from the massive yearly bike jumble at the National Cycling Centre. It's sat around in the garage for a few years until I decided I needed a bedside lamp and thought it would make an excellent basis for one. I know it says desk lamp but really I can use it anywhere where a little extra, if a tad yellow, light is needed. See the Instructable here
